Purpose of Role: The Assurance Automation team guarantees robust security controls by continuously measuring and validating the effectiveness of controls and assumptions at scale. As an Analyst, you will establish and document security controls across the business, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness. You will develop and implement a controls maturity framework and manage test cases. Your role includes creating interactive dashboards in PowerBI, generating comprehensive reports, and analysing large datasets to identify trends. Additionally, you will manage external security assessments, translate findings into actionable tasks, and ensure timely remediation.
Responsibilities: - Manage and Coordinate External Assessments (Red/Purple team exercises).
- Maintain, develop, and refine management reports.
- Document and manually test existing Security Controls; identify candidates for automation.
- Map existing controls to industry standards (ISO, NIST) and/or industry established industry frameworks (MITRE).
- Work towards improving policies and processes.
- Actively contribute to team documentation.
- Assist with audits and reports.
Skills / qualifications: - 3 years' experience within InfoSec.
- Educated to degree level.
- Experience of frameworks, controls.
- ISO experience.
- Experience building governance controls.
- Power BI experience or similar would be beneficial.
- Python experience is desirable not essential.
