Role Responsibilities
- Client Portfolio Management: Lead audit and accounts engagements for a diverse range of clients, ensuring adherence to industry standards
- Audit Planning & Execution: Oversee the audit process, managing the fieldwork, liaising with clients, and preparing final reports
- Accounts Preparation: Supervise the preparation of statutory accounts, tax computations, and financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Client Advisory: Provide strategic financial advice, helping clients achieve their business goals, and identify opportunities for additional services
- Team Development: Mentor junior staff, manage workflow, and conduct performance reviews to support individual growth and team efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Audit & Accounts Expertise: Proven experience managing audit and account assignments, with a strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Client Relationship Management: Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Leadership Skills: Experienced in mentoring and leading audit and accounts teams, with a collaborative approach to management
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, and Xero is beneficial
