Role Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit and financial statement preparation for limited companies and charities
• Oversee a portfolio of clients, providing both compliance and ad hoc advisory services
• Supervise and train junior staff, reviewing their work to ensure high-quality output
• Prepare corporation tax returns and provide proactive business advice to clients throughout the year
• Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and billing processes to meet deadlines
• Support business development by networking and building new client relationships

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Extensive experience in leading audit assignments within a practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to prepare statutory financial statements
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
• Business development mindset with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
