Role Responsibilities

• Managing audits from the planning stage through to completion for a variety of clients
• Overseeing the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
• Preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax computations and returns
• Supporting junior team members, offering guidance and mentoring to help them develop their skills
• Liaising directly with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing sound financial advice
• Assisting with business development, identifying opportunities to grow the firm’s client base

Required Skills and Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or studying towards it), though we welcome applications from those qualified by experience (QBE)
• Has at least 2 to 3 years of experience working in an accountancy practice
• Confident leading teams and working collaboratively with clients and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills and can easily build rapport with clients
• Passionate about delivering high standards of service and value to clients
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
