Role Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients across various industries
• Leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards
• Providing strategic business and financial advice to clients
• Developing and mentoring junior staff, supporting their professional growth
• Liaising with HMRC, financial institutions, and other external bodies as required
• Driving continuous improvement within the audit and accounts department

Candidate Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with significant post-qualification experience
• Proven experience managing audit and accounts work within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
