**Responsibilities:**- Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the accounts and audit department within the accountancy practice.- Manage and conduct audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other related documentation.- Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their compliance and optimizing their financial performance.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and building long-term partnerships.- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional growth.- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, and implement them within the accountancy practice.
**Requirements:**- Proven experience in a managerial role within an accountancy practice or similar setting.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.- Solid experience in conducting audits and preparing financial statements.- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial advice.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality work.
