Audit Assistant Manager - Spencer Clarke Group : Job Details

Our client is looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their award-winning service.

You will be joining a top 10 accountancy firm and be joining a successful Audit Team.

Responsibilities:· Undertake diverse audit assignments with high technical competence, autonomy, and adherence to budget and client expectations · Comply with the firm's operating procedures for consistent, high-quality output · Regularly communicate with managers, Principals, and colleagues on work progress · Complete tasks timely and cost-effectively, meeting deadlines and budgets for excellent output and good fee recovery · Train, mentor, and supervise junior team members, supporting their growth · Facilitate teamwork and foster a positive team spirit · Handle 70-80% audit work and 20-30% ad hoc projects at a senior level

QualificationsRequired:· Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA) · Demonstrable audit experience in the UK market within a professional services firm · Experience with planning, undertaking, and completing various audit assignments under FRS 102 · Experience with statutory audit assignments compliant with ISAs · Experience in drafting and finalising corporation tax computations for various companies · Ability to monitor costs against budget for clients

Desired:· Experience with accounts assignments under FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105 of varying sizes and complexity · Exposure to IFRS · Exposure to specialist audit assignments
