Job Purpose
- Overseeing audit engagements and leading onsite teams to ensure quality and timely deliver (70% of the role)
- Preparation of accounts and tax computations (30% of the role)
- Building strong rapport with clients to identify and resolve any queries
- Escalating complex matters to Senior Managment team to ensure issues are dealt with quickly and effectively
- Reviewing work before passing completed file to Senior Manager
- Providing mentorship to junior staff, offering feedback to champion skill sharing
- Supporting Senior Management team by assisting with ad-hoc projects where required
- Undertaking further learning opportunities to progress within the firm

The Successful Applicant
- ACCA or ACA qualified, finalist or studying
- Proven track record of undertaking statutory audits within practice
- Demonstrable experience in a client-facing role
- Strong interest in audit and good understanding of best practices
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid understanding of Caseware and Microsoft applications
- Ability to learn new IT skills quickly
- Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
- A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
- Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
- Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
- Able to work confidently with senior team members
