Job Purpose
- Manage a varied client portfolio, responsible for all commercial aspects of portfolio management
- Lead audits from planning to completion for a wide range of clients, including undertaking critical audit areas and completing on site client visits
- Build trusted clients relationships as their main point of contact, dealing with correspondence, providing updates, and proactively handling queries
- Review work prepared by junior staff, providing constructive feedback
- Manage the workflow across the audit function, ensuring deadlines are being met
- Monitor WIP and provide budget updates to Partners, including for fieldwork
- Support with ad hoc advisory work
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff, identifying knowledge gaps and providing training
- Monitor performance of staff and champion professional development across the team
- Undertake appraisals and assist with recruitment activities
- Support the firm’s business development goals by assisting with the development of tenders and presentations
- Help to identify new business opportunities and continuously strengthen your network of local contacts

Job Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified with extensive experience in UK practice
- A minimum of two years post-qualified experience
- A proven track record of leading external audits from planning to completion
- Supervisory experience with excellent people management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong working knowledge of relevant audit software
- Up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations
- Professional, highly organised and able to meet deadlines
- A can-do, hands-on approach towards problem solving
- Good time management and a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- A team player who is eager to support the wider team
