Length: Initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend

An opportunity has arisen with one of our London based clients for three Audit Fee Variation Reviewers, who are fully qualified CCAB Accountants and will assist with increased volume of fee variation proposals over a 3-6 month period.

Key responsibilities of the Interim Audit Fee Variation Reviewer:

• Undertake the first review and make recommendations on fee variation proposals submitted by audit suppliers
• Liaise with representatives of audit suppliers to query and clarify aspects of their fee variations submissions
• Liaise with audited bodies to discuss audit suppliers’ fee variations submissions
• Maintain detailed and accurate records to support fee variation processing
• Work with colleagues to respond to fee-related queries from audited bodies and firms
• Work with the Data Analyst Manager to support the processing and reporting of the fee variation data and fee variations mailbox
• Respond to queries from firms and audited bodies and swiftly escalating where necessary

Essential experience for the Interim Audit Fee Variation Reviewer:

• Able to work effectively on own initiative and know when to seek advice
• Excellent organisational skills with thoroughness and able to produce accurate work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, willing to constructively challenge and voice own opinion in internal and external discussions
• Strong IT skills (including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
• Proven experience of coordinating multiple activities and shifting demands, with the ability to prioritise and simplify complexity to support effective delivery
• Qualified Accountant CCAB or equivalent
