The Audit Manager will play a crucial role in managing and delivering audit engagements from planning through to final audit report. This position is based in Mid Kent and requires a meticulous professional with exceptional knowledge in Accounting & Finance.

Description

• Audit and accounts responsibilities split 75%/25% respectively.
• Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Lead and supervise the work of the audit team.
• Ensure audit processes are followed in accordance with firm and professional standards.
• Maintain and develop client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results.
• Keep abreast of current changes and trends in the accounting industry.
• Preparing management and year end accounts.
• Participate in business development initiatives.

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

• Professional certification (ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry.
• Strong understanding of auditing and control practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
