Job Purpose
- Planning audit engagements and leading onsite teams (70% of the role)
- Preparation of accounts and tax computations within audit engagements (30% of the role)
- Support a varied portfolio of clients acting in a pivotal role beneath the seniors and managers
- Provide support to Managers and Directors
- Build strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving
- Deliver a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy
- Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
- Coach juniors by reviewing work and skill sharing across the department
- Manage your own workload autonomously, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
- Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or studying
- Demonstrable experience in client-facing role and undertaking statutory audits within practice
- Excellent understanding of UK GAAP/FRS 102
- Working knowledge of relevant software, including Microsoft Office, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally
- Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
- A team player who is eager to support the wider team
- Ability to build enhance relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload
- Keen to progress within the firm and learn from an experienced team
