As an Audit Semi-Senior, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of assignments across different industries. The client base ranges from owner-managed businesses to international groups and companies listed on The London Stock Exchange. You will be involved in all aspects of the audit process, from planning through to completion.

The Candidate:

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Experience working closely with staff and clients to assist in the planning and completion of audits.
• ACA/ACCA student or part-qualified with a minimum of 18 months’ experience in a UK practice.
• Ability to identify and communicate audit findings to senior management and clients.
• Experience leading audits with exposure to all areas of audit testing during fieldwork, including audit planning and completion.
• Opportunities for professional growth, supported by ongoing training and supervision from senior team members.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and ensure timely delivery of information.
• Experience in preparing financial statements under FRS 102 and FRS 102-1A. Experience with IFRS is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assignments and ensure audit files are completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
• Ability to identify opportunities to provide added value to clients.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to keep the team and clients informed of progress on assignments.
• Knowledge of CaseWare and CCH software is beneficial.
• Experience with groups and consolidation is beneficial.
• Up-to-date working knowledge of financial reporting, auditing standards, and company law.
• Non-academic extracurricular interests that demonstrate drive and leadership, entrepreneurial flair, or a passion for success.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional yet approachable personality.
• A strong academic background and a willingness to work hard and reap the benefits of your efforts.
