About Us: Reed are working with a well-established accountancy practice based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Semi Senior or Audit Senior to join their team. This practice is committed to delivering high-quality audit services and fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
• Plan and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
• Prepare audit reports and financial statements.
• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Assist in the development and training of junior audit staff.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with other departments within the practice to ensure seamless audit operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (preferred).
