In your role as an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of audit services in accordance with the latest UK GAAP. You will be working directly with clients across various sectors, providing expert advice and maintaining our high standards of service. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

As a key member of our audit team, you will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm's growth by identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation. Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the client and managing the audit team.
  • Review the work of junior staff and provide on-the-job training.
  • Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions.
  • Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate colleagues.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
