About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Audit Senior to join our dynamic team in Ingatestone. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support.
- Review financial statements and ensure they are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Identify areas of risk within clients' businesses and propose appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for client queries.
- Stay up to date with changes in auditing standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an audit role, preferably within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
