Description
- Leading and coordinating audit assignments from planning through to finalisation.
- Ensuring all audits are completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales.
- Supervising junior members of the team, providing guidance and mentoring as needed.
- Reviewing financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Participating in business development activities to help expand the client base.
- Reporting directly to the Audit Manager and Partner on assignment progress.
- Continually updating knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience within a similar role in the professional services industry.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
