Job Description :

We are recruiting for an Audit Senior on behalf of a top 25 accountancy firm based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled auditor to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and growing firm.

The Role

As an Audit Senior, you will take a leading role in audit assignments, managing field audits from planning to completion across a range of clients. You will oversee junior team members, providing training and reviewing their work, while working closely with managers and partners to ensure technical compliance. In addition, you will gain exposure to accounts preparation and corporate tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute audits, ensuring compliance with ISA and UK GAAP.
  • Manage audit assignments efficiently, balancing cost and time constraints.
  • Supervise and mentor junior auditors, reviewing their work on-site.
  • Oversee audit and accounts preparation performed by junior staff.
  • Liaise with clients and partners, maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Ensure audit procedures are meticulously followed.
  • Draft corporation and income tax computations.
  • Travel to client offices as required.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or part-qualified with a minimum of two years’ audit experience).
  • A minimum of 12 ACA or 9 ACCA exam passes for part-qualified candidates.
  • Strong statutory audit experience gained in public practice.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISA and UK GAAP.
  • Experience in accounts preparation and drafting corporate tax computations.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to client offices as required.
