TITLE: Examiner and Auditor
LOCATION: Remote (With regular travel across UK and Ireland).
PAY: £41,000 - £45,000 per annum
DURATION: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Permanent
Reed - Further Education are seeking an Examiner and Auditor (one based in the South of England and one in the East) to join one of the leading accrediting bodies for workplace transport training!
What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of a Examiner and Auditor?
- Arrange and conduct material handling equipment (MHE) operator training audits and provide guidance/advice to customers on matters relating to MHE training/safety
- Arrange and conduct LGV Exam Centre audits and provide guidance/advice to customers on matters relating to LGV training/safety
- Conduct MHE instructor exams
- Conduct LGV instructor exams
- Ensure all reports and assessment evidence are high quality and recorded accurately
- Collaborating with team members to continuously improve the services offered by the company
- Attending team standardisation meetings
- Undertaking relevant continuous professional development
- Maintaining safe systems of work at all times
What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?
- Lift truck instructor qualification (current or expired from RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, NPORS or LANTRA)
- Current C+E LGV Licence
- Effective communication skills
- A desire to develop and improve others
- A commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised
What skills and qualifications would stand out for this role?
- LGV Instructor qualification (current or expired from DVSA, RTITB, NVDIR, NRI)
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor qualification (or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience delivering LGV or MHE training
- ADI
- PCV Licence
- Knowledge of PREVENT and safeguarding
