Automation Engineer - Gates, Barriers, Doors & ShuttersCardiff£37,000 - £43,000

Our client who are a family owned business in Cardiff that has been operating in the Automation, Fire & Security industry for over 30 years are recruiting for an Automation Installation & Service Engineer to support the company's ongoing growth.

Main Duties:

• Responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and servicing of Automatic Doors, Gates, Bollards, Barriers, and Roller Shutters
• Preferred experience of as many aspects of Automation as possible, including manufacturers such as Dorma, Entrématic, Record, FAAC, BFT, Avon Barriers etc

Skills/Experience:

• 3 years of automation experience or experience in a related discipline. Training can be provided in some areas if required.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and servicing of Automatic Doors, Gates, Bollards, Barriers, and Roller Shutters
• ADSA BS/EN16005 certified preferable
• Basic understanding of electrical works
• Full UK driving licence
• No criminal record
• If successful, candidate must complete, submit, and pass a full security vetting clearance
• IPAF licence preferable
