Job Title: AV Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000

To install, service and maintain high-end audio-visual systems for retail, leisure, and hospitality clients in Birmingham.

• Working independently and as part of a small team to install and service audio-visual systems.
• Providing guidance and training to Junior Engineers.
• Acting as the main point of contact on site for client updates and queries.
• Maintaining communication with the operations team regarding progress or issues on site.
• Assembly of AV racks, ensuring all cabling is labelled and organised.
• Leading and training Junior Engineers as needed.
• Providing client training on how to use installed systems.
• Accurately completing project paperwork.
• Willingness to work away from home when required.
• Maintaining a safe and organised workspace.
• Adhering to health and safety policies.

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience as an AV installation engineer or similar
• Strong knowledge of audio systems, ideally experienced in servicing 100v line audio systems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work away from home on occasion

• ECS, IPAF or PASMA certificates
• QSC or Dante certifications

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of between £27K - £35K per annum depending on experience, along with overtime rates of 1.5X.

You'll also receive a generous holiday package of 25 days plus bank holidays, your birthday off, and the ability to buy and sell up to 5 days of annual leave. A Medicash healthcare scheme, along with death in service compensation of 3X your annual salary, will also be included in the package.

All necessary tools will be provided, along with a company van and fuel card to cover expenses.
