AV TechnicianLeeds£25,000 to £27,000Your new companyHays Technology are recruiting an AV Technician to join a large public sector organisation based in the Leeds area. You will be reporting to the AV Manager.Your new roleIn your new role, you will administer and operating the Media loans counter booking service and Help Desk operations in support of all Audio-Visual activities onsite and ensure that both staff and students have access to appropriate resources. You will be helping manage, monitor and coordinate activities with academics, students and other key stakeholders to successfully deliver projects, maintenance work, and daily operational activities.You will be providing online and in class technical support for events, open days, and class activities. This includes the provision of online and in-person guidance and demonstration in the use of relevant software and technologies. You will also be liaising with other technical staff to ensure operation and instruction materials are appropriate to the facility and the users to ensure maximum benefit from the technology.What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in providing first line technical support and preventive maintenance of Audi-Visual facilities in an educational or corporate environment
• Experience in overseeing daily AV and helpdesk operations and prioritising issues based on urgency and tracking their resolution progress
• Good understanding of complex Audi-Visual systems and their integration with IT systems and networks
• Proficiency with wireless presentation technologies, lecture capture, MS Teams rooms, AV control systems
• Experience in working with cross-functional stakeholders to thoroughly understand AV requirements, coordinate, and set up events and activities
