Azure Lead DevOps Engineer

6 month contract

£670 per day inside IR35

Reading - one day per week in the office

Our client, one of the UKs largest Energy companies is looking for a contractor to join their team. They are continuously improving and supporting several internal products for the business. The Products perform various functions from Procurement to Health and Safety.They are looking for people that can:* Design, develop and maintain function/web applications as part of an agile team on an Azure platform.* Ensure requirements are comprehensively understood before development commences. Collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements and identify potential solutions.* Develop and maintain solutions that add value to the business. This includes developing and implementing new features, fixing issues and optimising performance.* Code according to industry standards and specifications by ensuring: secure, clean, maintainable and efficient code.* Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle, including: analysis, planning, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.* Producing and maintaining design, configuration and process documentation.* Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.* Excellent understanding of Agile SCRUM* Good microservices development experience* Experience with problem solving and analytical skills* Understanding of software testing technologies and methodologies* Experience with ITIL Processes* Experience working with heavily integrated development solutionsProgramming Languages and Technologies:Angular and Node Development Team* Good Angular (front end) and NodeJS (back end) development experience* Azure B2CThe technologies we develop on or with (both teams):* Azure DevOps Tool (ADO) for:o Repositorieso CI/CD Pipelineso Wiki Docso SCRUM Board* Azure Platform Technologies:o Azure APIs (APIM)o Azure Data Factoryo Azure Functionso Azure CosmosDBo Azure Blob storageo Azure Event Hub/Grido Azure Authentication products (AD, AAD)o Azure App Insightso Azure Key Vault* Git* YAML* HTML, CSS and PHP* SQL* Send Grid* Visual StudioBonus Technologies which would be a bonus but not a requirement (but not required)* Selenium* Azure App Gateway* ETL Tooling (Current Angular/Node project)
