About the Role:
We are looking for experienced B1/B2 licensed engineers to join a new contract supporting the Ministry of Defence in Cyprus and Brunei. The roles will involve maintaining and ensuring maximum aircraft availability for various missions in a dynamic and challenging environment. While deployed, you will be working on-site in either Cyprus or Brunei, with additional maintenance activities at Airbus UK in Oxford or Shawbury when not deployed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Preparation: Ensuring aircraft readiness for the daily flying schedule.
- Line Maintenance: Performing maintenance activities as needed.
- Base Maintenance: Engaging in maintenance activities on-site in Cyprus or Brunei.
- Fault Diagnosis and Rectification: Identifying and resolving defects efficiently.
- Production Duties: Completing tasks as directed by the chief engineer.
- Flexibility: Being ready for on-call periods, early starts, or shifts outside regular working hours.
Essential Requirements:
- CAA Licensed Engineer: Only UK CAA licensed engineers will be considered.
- Experience: Extensive experience in rotary aircraft engineering.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with Part 145 regulations.
- Fault Diagnosis: Strong methodical approach to problem-solving and fault diagnosis.
- Customer Relationships: Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Security Clearance: Applicants must be eligible for DBS Security Clearance and capable of obtaining SC clearance.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Type Ratings: Licensed and type rated on the BK117D-2/3 helicopter.
