10 Month Contract (Rolling)

£500 - £600/day (Umbrella)

A leading Investment Bank is seeking a Senior IT Business Lead Analyst/Project Manager to bridge the gap between business users and technologists in our Fixed Income Electronic Trading division. This role requires significant experience in UNIX and SQL alongside FI Trading products/exposure to Front Office environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis and develop solutions for system and process issues
• Drive continuous improvement in business processes
• Provide input on complex, high-impact projects
• Consult with clients to determine system specifications
• Evaluate new IT developments and recommend system enhancements

Required Skills:

• 6-10 years of experience in financial technology
• Strong proficiency in SQL and UNIX - hands-on experience is crucial
• In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income products (Corp bonds, Gov bonds, IRS)
• Experience with Electronic Trading Front Office systems
• Project management skills (JIRA, Agile methodology)
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

## Technical Expertise:- Advanced SQL query writing- UNIX command proficiency- MS Office suite, especially Excel for data analysis- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau) is a plus
