Location: London - Hybrid Contract Type: 6-Month Contract with Possible Extension

Skills:

Essentials:

• Proficiency in Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Expertise in database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Previous experience in the media or technology sector

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable back-end systems using Python.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through testing and monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance database schemas, queries, and operations for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the adoption of modern techniques.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
