We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 6 Health Improvement Dietitian to join our team and play a pivotal role in improving nutrition and health outcomes. This fully remote role offers flexibility and an opportunity to make a significant impact by promoting evidence-based nutrition interventions across the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be the dedicated dietitian responsible for providing expert nutrition guidance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, Delivering, and Evaluating Nutrition Education:
    • Create and deliver accredited nutrition training programs for key community groups.
    • Facilitate the rollout of Level 1 Nutrition Skills for Life courses, ensuring quality assurance.
  • Expert Resource:
    • Act as a trusted nutrition resource for the health board, community partners, and local groups.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee the quality of nutrition interventions within the community.
  • Project Management:
    • Work autonomously to identify, design, deliver, and evaluate local and national projects.
    • Take a leadership role in project delivery, reporting on activities and outcomes.
  • Service Development and Improvement:
    • Drive service development and continuous quality improvement.
  • Team Support:
    • Provide support and cover for the Health Improvement Nutrition & Dietetic Team.
    • Supervise and mentor staff and dietetic students.
Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering nutrition interventions across life stages (e.g., pregnancy, preschool).
