Behaviour Buddy - Empowering Learning : Job Details

Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a mainstream Secoondary School in Lewisham who are looking to appoint a full time Behaviour Buddy to make an impact to their students. Your role as a Behaviour Buddy will involve working as a Classroom Assistant and working 1:1 with students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching and educating Secondary aged students.

Your Duties as a Behaviour Buddy:

• Plan and deliver engaging mentoring sessions
• Provide constructive feedback to improve performance and technique
• Develop tailored training programmes to meet the needs of participants
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants
• Organise and supervise sports events, matches, or tournaments
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during coaching sessions

Your Experience as a Behaviour Buddy:

• Proven experience in sports coaching, with a focus on delivering high-quality coaching sessions
• Recognised qualification in sports coaching or relevant field
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate participants
• Excellent organisational skills to plan and coordinate coaching activities
• Ability to adapt coaching techniques to suit different age groups and skill levels.
