The Role:

• Position: Behaviour Mentor.
• Salary: £80-£100 per day, based on experience.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour. You'll provide encouragement, guidance, and strategies to help them succeed both academically and socially.

Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:

• Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to manage and improve behaviour.
• Help pupils build confidence, develop resilience, and achieve their potential.
• Support classroom learning by working closely with teachers to create an inclusive environment.
• Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual pupils' needs.
• Collaborate with staff and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Who We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or supporting children with additional needs (e.g., SEMH, ASD, ADHD).
• The ability to build trust and form strong relationships with pupils.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach to working with children with challenging behaviour.
• Flexibility to work across different schools in Waltham Forest.
• A genuine desire to help pupils overcome challenges and succeed in their education.
