A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Bromley is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role that will run until the end of the academic year, offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

• Work closely with students to support positive behaviour management and engagement in learning.

• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to address behavioural and emotional needs.

• Implement strategies to improve attendance, motivation, and academic progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN teams to develop personalised support plans.

• Act as a role model, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.

• Assist in crisis management and de-escalation when necessary.

• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents where required.

• Previous experience working with children or young people in a mentoring, teaching assistant, youth work, or similar role.

• Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach.

• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with students from diverse backgrounds.

• A patient, empathetic, and resilient personality.

• A valid DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
