Behaviour Support Assistant - Tilehurst/Reading- Full Time

We are currently looking for a dedicated person to join our team in the position of a Behaviour Support Assistant in November2024. The role is located in a specialist education setting, catering to students aged 4-16 years old. The Behaviour Support Assistant position focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence and motivatingstudents throughout their education.

• Supporting learners who are facing challenges with behaviour management and displays
• Assisting students learning healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation
• Tracking progress and implementing education plans
• Practice effective communication skills to resolve conflicts
• Motivate students to develop independence and engagement with learning material

• 8am-4pm, Monday - Friday, Full Time

Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
