Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students with SEND needs, fostering their social skills, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.
Implement tailored interventions and behaviour management techniques to support positive outcomes and academic progress.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
Create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' emotional well-being.
Qualifications
Relevant experience working with students with SEND needs in an educational or similar setting.
Strong understanding of SEND challenges and the ability to implement appropriate strategies and interventions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of students.
