The Building Maintenance Company are a long-standing commercial property maintenance company providing services to national retail, restaurant and leisure chains.

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Billing/Accounts Clerk to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing accounts payable using Sage Accounts, sales invoicing and ensuring accurate billing procedures are met.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and send out invoices to customers
  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to ensure targets are met
  • Assist in month-end financial activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and practices
