Billing Analyst - Babble Cloud Ltd : Job Details

The Purpose of your role 

As a Billing Analyst you will own the production of insight & analysis for the billing team, owning the production of bill run sign off reporting. You will ensure that we are maximising our revenue by providing insight for the billing team on what is available to bill. You will improve the accuracy of the business by ensuring supplier pricing is correct. You will drive price increase implementation through to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy & completeness of billing information, including implementing customer price increases on AKJ.
• Provide insights on billing discrepancies including understanding movements from last month to this month.
• Improving the billing process by identifying patterns and weaknesses in the billing process.
• Regular reporting on billing performance metrics.
• Document processes and recommend efficiencies for process improvement.
• Keep abreast of all billing directives and/or reporting, insights, analytics, and accounting guidelines.
• Generate Insights and recommendations on billing analysis to support decision making.
• Improve the updating of supplier buy pricing.
• Support the updating of the business product catalogue to drive improved insight of customer revenue & GP.
• Monthly review of actual V expected billing

Qualifications and Skills

• B Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
• Minimum of 3-5 years as a Biling Analyst or similar role.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Excellent communication, written & oral.
• Experience in intermediate – advanced excel and billing software.
• Knowledge of Accounting principles.
