Billing and Revenue Accountant - Temp to Perm - Handle Recruitment : Job Details

Handle are currently working with a market leading PR and Communications brand who are looking for a Billings and Revenue Accountant on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager by handling invoicing for fees and expenses, and assisting with Work in Progress (WIP) maintenance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced revenue/billing focused finance professional to work for such a successful brand!

Key responsibilities include -

• Manage aged debt, oversee credit control, and resolve disputes
• Support day-to-day finance operations for the business
• Track revenue by maintaining source documentation for new jobs and clients, ensuring accurate accounting system entries

• Assist with month-end processes, including reconciliation and reporting
• Address client and client team inquiries promptly and professionally
• Set up new client profiles and job codes in the accounting system, ensuring proper due diligence

Candidate requirements -

• Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in an agency setting
• Experience in an agency environment and familiarity with SOX
• Strong affinity for numbers and attention to detail
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative and follow through
