Billing Assistant - Totum : Job Details

Totum Partners is delighted to be working with a leading law firm to recruit a Billing Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with legal billing experience who is looking to broaden their position to include a wider finance assistant role, supporting the UK head office of a prominent law firm.

This would be an ideal role for someone seeking a varied and comprehensive legal finance position.

The ideal Billing Assistant will be responsible for:

• Client and matter onboarding
• Preparing bills and client invoices
• Processing time and cost adjustments as requested by the lawyers
• Posting of client receipts
• Uploading and posting of supplier invoices and payments
• Management of accounts payable – including professional disbursement balances
• All aspects of Client Money accounting including posting of receipts and payments against client matters and compliance with SRA rules and requirements
• Liaising with the Group Finance team to ensure consistency with processes & procedures

The ideal Billing Assistant will have:

• Experience of billing
• Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
