Your new companyYour new company are an Independent Lloyd's based in the City of London, they deliver specialist insurance, reinsurance and capital markets advisory services. Your new Lloyd's Broking house are a highly respected broker and are renowned globally for their specialist market knowledge, intelligent analysis, and insight. Their staff are highly motivated and hungry to bring success to their clients in every transaction. Due to maternity leave in the Technical Teams a temporary job for a Binder Technician has arisen.

Your new roleYour new job working as a Binder Technician means you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective Technical Processing service to the business whilst adhering to Regulatory, Risk and Compliance requirements. You will maintain up to date and accurate documentation, deal with incoming enquiries from Clients, Underwriter and third parties, handle any queries and sign Premiums Bordereaux via Xchanging and ensure KPI's are all met. Duties will include assessing incoming processing requests for completeness, producing accurate and complete client and market documentation, processing Premium bordereaux and obtain agreement where required and maintain the status of processing requests within the SLA tracking tool. Further duties will also include filing relevant documentation electronically, ensuring processing errors are highlighted to the relevant Premium Technician and assist with ad-hoc projects when required.

What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as a Binder Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have experience in drafting and finalising all binding authority contracts through to submission into the bureau, experience in loading details into the Lloyd's DCOM platform, experience in navigating and loading items into the Lloyd's Atlas platform. You will also have experience in creating and updating written and premium Bordereaux, identifying and resolving any issues on the bordereaux with the relevant stakeholders. Ideally, you will have knowledge of Sequel Eclipse Broking and knowledge of LORs. You will have good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, good communication, organisation, technical and industry knowledge, an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
