Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities for this role include:
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff, laboratory staff and external clients giving technical advice on test results and use of the service
- Responsible for results generated in their work section ensuring that quality standards and departmental policies are followed
- Notify colleagues of unusual and abnormal results
- To act as Team leading BMS over a weekend/bank holiday period
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Biomedical Scientist.
- A Biomedical Science Degree or equivalent.
- Specialist Portfolio
- Participation in CPD
- Experience of standard diagnostic methods in the relevant pathology discipline.
- At least two year’s post registration experience of working in a diagnostic pathology laboratory in the relevant discipline.
