BMS Project Engineer

Role Overview:
As a BMS Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Building Management System (BMS) Engineering team, delivering optimisation, preventative, and reactive maintenance projects within sectors such as commercial, schools, and leisure. This role involves overseeing small to medium-sized projects, with a focus on BMS system programming and software strategy development. Experience with Trend and/or Tridium is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver BMS project works: Manage and execute key project deliverables related to BMS installation and optimisation.
- Maintenance work: Handle both planned and reactive BMS maintenance, remotely and on-site.
- Energy optimisation: Develop and implement energy-saving strategies through the BMS platform.
- Stakeholder communication: Work closely with clients to ensure projects run smoothly, identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Relationship building: Foster strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party contractors to meet project goals.
- Skill development: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and software developments within the BMS field.
Candidate Requirements:
- BMS Experience: Expertise in Trend systems is essential. Knowledge or experience with Tridium platforms is advantageous but not required.
- Technical Skills: Ability to create and modify software strategies for BMS platforms.
- Project Management: Solid understanding of project delivery methods and ability to solve complex problems.
- Driving License: Full, clean driving license is required.
- Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation, and a positive team-player attitude.
- Travel: Willingness to travel locally with occasional nationwide travel required.
