BMS Project Manager
Location: North Wales (covering projects in Bristol and Cardiff)What You Will DoAs a BMS Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, focusing on customer satisfaction and successful outcomes. How You Will Do It
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors
- Conduct sales handovers to fully understand the scope of work
- Manage health, safety, and environmental aspects for all projects in your portfolio
- Oversee project direction, implementation, and control
- Monitor and manage the commercial performance of projects
- Provide progress reports to customers, senior project managers, and leaders
- Drive standardization across the organization
- Collaborate with Supply Chain & Subcontract organizations to manage third-party contracts, project quality, and accounts
- Undertake risk reviews and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Validate assumptions during solution design, build detailed cost estimates, and assist with proposals and customer communications
What We Look ForRequired:
- Solid experience in BMS and control systems
- At least 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry
- Strong ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
- Proven experience managing large projects (£2M–£4M) with successful outcomes
- Team player with experience managing remote resources
- Strong financial and commercial awareness
- Valid CSCS site card & SSSTS certification
Preferred:
- Experience working in data centres or critical infrastructure environments
- Background in construction sites and M&E main contractors
- High-level knowledge of BMS engineering principles
- Familiarity with Metasys, Tridium, Trend, or similar BMS platforms
