We are working with a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that specialises in patient, public and stakeholder engagement and insight to drive and support improvements in health and social care.Working a national, regional and local level, this CIC delivers local Healthwatch services and Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnerships, and consultancy work for those who commission, provide and develop health and social care services and products.About the rolesThe CIC is looking to expand their Board with a view to building on its success in health and social care, and on its consultancy and so develop and expand its business into other areas where the experience of the public voice translates. This could be, for example, care, housing or education.Key responsibilities include:

Time commitment and termThis is a voluntary role with a term of three years, with the option to serve for a further two years if invited to do so by the Chair. The commitment involves attending a Board meeting every other month (option to join in person or virtually), and other ad hoc meetings such as training and away days.
