Bookkeeper - Accountancy Practice - Butler Rose : Job Details

Bookkeeper Huntingdon Salary £28,000 - £33,000Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be representing our client, a first-class, well established accounting firm that service clients from a broad range of industry sectors. Positioned in a prime location they are looking for personable and proactive professionals to thrive together. Role Responsibilities

• Managing on a day to day basis the transactional accounting requirements of clients
• Bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, payroll
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc management accounts to include balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset depreciation, variance analysis, VAT & payroll reconciliations, cashflow forecasting.
• Daily liaisons with clients

Personal Requirements

• Ideally AAT qualified with at least 3 years' Bookkeeping experience within practice
• Solid exposure to bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts production
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and the HMRC
• Proficient in the use of various cloud accounting software including, XERO, Sage50, Quickbooks and Hubdoc
