Bookkeeper/Finance Administrator - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays are working exclusively with a family run organisation in Wolverhampton who are looking for an all-round Bookkeeper/Finance Admin to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing organisation. Your new role

• Have a good basic understanding of accounts.
• Be able to reconcile all aspects of a trial balance and show an understanding of how the accounts form the year-end and quarterly management accounts
• Preparation and production of the quarterly management accounts
• Entering journals for PAYE, cash, depreciation etc.
• Entering purchase invoices and sales invoices
• Preparation of the monthly payroll to send to the payroll bureau.
• To be able to liaise with year-end accountants in preparation of the companies' accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

• Have a good understanding of accounts
• Very trustworthy
• Extremely loyal
• Strong experience with Excel spreadsheets
• Ability to think with your own initiative
• Ability to follow processes
• AAT qualified - desired not essential
