Bookkeeper - M44 - Irlam

Salary: £30-35k

A well-established construction company is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounts professional to join their close-knit team. You will provide accounting support while also managing day-to-day office and administrative tasks to help the team meet its objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data into Sage/Strike and manage receipts and invoices.
• Purchase & Sales invoices
• Assist with monthly valuations and accounts operations.
• Log employee absences and holidays.
• Coordinate admin support, manage posts, and handle account applications.
• Place orders for the contract team, yard, and office.
• Collaborate with senior and site management teams.
• Manage CITB/Levy Grants, PQQ, and Industry Accreditation.
• Prepare VAT returns, and support pensions.
• Manage debtors
• Oversee vehicle management and promote team culture.

Key Skills:

• Strong background in Accounts/Bookkeeping
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organisational and time management abilities.

• Full-time, flexible start time (core hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm).
