You will play a key part in the business's success, working closely with the partners to provide tax advice and general bookkeeping including reconciliation and VAT. This is the ideal position for a capable bookkeeper seeking a secure long-term position with a leading local firm.Responsibilities:

• Tax returns and VAT
• Bookkeeping to TB
• Liaison with the HMRC when required
• Being a port of call when clients require assistance
• Assist juniors and apprentices when needed

Required Attributes and Exposure:

• Three or more years in a similar role
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of multiple accounting systems such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
• Exposure to the above responsibilities
