Job Description :

I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper or finance professional eager to expand their expertise into operations. As the Bookkeeper & Operations Co-ordinator, you will oversee both bookkeeping and collaborate with the planning and customer services team in France.

Your role will be evenly split, with 50% of your time dedicated to finance tasks such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, and financial reporting. The remaining 50% will focus on operations, including product planning, supply chain management, warehouse support, and health and safety. This position offers a unique chance to broaden your skill set and make a significant impact.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITES

Finance

•    Create and submit proforma invoices to customers.•    Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.•    Maintain cash book, General Ledger, and prepare bank reconciliations.•    Upload sales data into Power BI.•    Assist with financial information requests.

Operations

•    Develop and maintain a 12-month rolling forecast.•    Collaborate with the group planner in France and UK sales team.•    Schedule meetings with distributors to confirm forecasts and orders.•    Manage product setup in ERP and customer portal.•    Coordinate shipments and handle import/export documentation.•    Oversee stock management and customer service inquiries.•    Support warehouse operations and health & safety compliance.•    Prepare various reports and support sales forecasting.•    Address supply chain queries.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Good knowledge of bookkeeping.•    Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and Vlookups.•    Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Experience of planning, forecasting, other financial analysis•    Experience of Supply Chain/stock management.•    Experience of using an ERP system.
