Bordereaux Analyst - Arc IT Recruitment : Job Details

Bordereaux Analyst,London/Hybrid£competitive + bonus + benefits  We are seeking a Bordereaux Analyst to join a thriving insurance organisation that operates in the London Market. You will be supporting the European underwriting team on written, premium and claims bordereaux, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and fulfil reporting requirements.  Role responsibilities

• Facilitate the production of Written/Premium/Claims bordereaux, working with the business’s Marine product in a multi-currency environment to ensure reports are accurate and up to date when sent to Brokers/Carriers.
• Monthly review of portfolio for Business Unit, highlighting issues/significant changes etc.
• Proactively raise and manage queries through to resolution with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop Monthly Management information Written/Claims/Premium/Aged Debtor by Business Unit.
• Ensure all business written adhered to the terms of the Binding Authority Agreement, and work with the underwriting team to rectify any breaches.
• Management of payments to carriers and other third parties on a monthly basis.  Reconciliation of claims trust accounts.
• Respond in a timely manner to External Audit requirements / requests

  Knowledge and Experience 

• Knowledge of Marine Insurance would be beneficial
• Proven experience in reporting in Lloyds minimum standards and technicalities bordereaux data.
• Knowledge of LMTOM & Market business glossary.
• Experience in producing Written, Premium & Claims bordereaux.
• Well-practiced in reconciliations.
• Ability to adhere to and manage strict SLAs.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Confident and able to develop relationships through effective communication.
