Are you an experienced Branch/General Manager? Have you worked within the Engineering Sector?
We are seeking a Branch Manager ton behalf of our client in Leamington Spa. This role is pivotal in driving the profitable growth and development of the business, in alignment with the group's overall strategy.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prioritise Health and Safety (H&S), ensuring full compliance with legislation and internal policies.
- Champion and enhance a Quality Assurance (QA) culture, fully compliant with existing procedures and continuously identifying areas for improvement.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across all branch activities.
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans to meet or exceed profitability targets.
- Ensure the internal sales team achieves or exceeds budgeted orders.
- Manage store systems to meet operational requirements efficiently and professionally.
- Optimise IT systems to enhance operational efficiencies and support exceptional customer service, identifying areas for improvement.
- Produce monthly reports for the board in the specified format.
- Identify improvement areas and propose corrective actions to address challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Manage branch personnel effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven ability to build and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative environment across the business.
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving upper quartile performance.
- Positive and proactive approach to business challenges.
- Competency in reporting on Branch performance
- Experience managing branch expenditure in accordance with business requirements and agreed budgets.
- An engineering background is advantageous but not essential.
