We are working with a reputable global investment bank who are looking to hire a Brand and Communications Manager into their lean but fantastic communications team in London.

This role is hybrid.

Client Details

The client are leaders in the investment banking and corporate finance space and due to continuous growth across EMEA over recent years, they are looking to hire a Brand and Communications Manager into their team - this role will have a focus on internal communications across the business.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Brand and Communications Manager:

The Communications & Brand team is responsible for internal and external strategic communications, ensuring the brand is consistently applied across EMEA.

The successful applicant will join the business at a pivotal phase of transformation, and liaising closely with team members and colleagues across the region, will cover all aspects of content creation including business promotion, inclusion, diversity and equity, and corporate culture.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Help to create engaging written and visual content for use internally and externally.
  • Research and develop story ideas and write them from scratch, including social media content, commentary and thought leadership pieces, ensuring internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Help to ensure a steady stream of social media (LinkedIn) content, managing the content calendar for EMEA.
  • Assist other team members in planning and managing the delivery of photo and video content in support of internal and external communications
  • Assist in the maintenance of EMEA's intranet platform
  • Assist in the upkeep and development of our digital messaging platform.
  • Assist in the delivery of Communications' support to internal stakeholders, including but not limited to, Human Resources and Inclusion Networks, and also support charity partner initiatives.
  • Support in the delivery of values and culture initiatives.
  • Where needed, help with delivery of creative assets
  • Create a quarterly output dashboard.

Profile

The experience needed:

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop productive relationships across the organisation including with bankers and traders; to be able to tailor approach to individuals to get the best output and have the ability to question and negotiate.
  • Keen to take responsibility and ownership for work along with an entrepreneurial spirit as well being organised and able to work autonomously.
  • Experience in creating engaging content, for all platforms including social media, internal platforms and external website.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong track record as an implementer with a can-do attitude who thrives on managing a number of key initiatives at the same time, and proven experience in delivering projects.
  • Proficient use of video and camera equipment and editing skills: Adobe Premier Pro, InDesign and Photoshop with a flair for design and brand
  • Self-starter - able to work independently, and enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives, but is also a strong collaborator across all groups.
  • Ideally in an in-house communications role covering areas of social media, website, internal communications platforms, and content management systems, Monday.com
  • Will have worked in financial services or professional services
