Broker Back Up Marine - MW Appointments : Job Details

An established and respected international, Lloyds broker is seeking to recruit an experienced Marine Broker Support Technician.

Working closely with the Marine broking team you will provide a range of services to support the relationship with clients and markets.

You will be responsible for a range of technical support functions that will facilitate the successful placement and servicing of international marine business.

Marine Technician / Overview

• Work with clients and brokers to create MRC slips and endorsements.
• Ensure that local taxes considerations and other territorial requirements are satisfied
• Liaise with the operations team to ensure accurate processing.
• Co-ordinate with the IBA team to manage premium issues
• Review and verify market and client documentation.
• Oversee broking to overseas markets
• Collaborate with clients to provide support through the placement process.
• Assist in maintaining and developing client relationships
• Manage the renewal process

What is required

• Experience of a technical support role within the Lloyds / London market.
• Any marine classes and familiarity with Marine Liabilities, Ports and Terminals would be ideal, but not essential.
• Experience using any of the following would be preferable - Brokasure, PPL, whitespace, Crystal, Atlas, Impact
